01 / About

Background

I am a Computer Engineering graduate from Nepal working on backend systems, AI-assisted applications, and the infrastructure that keeps them running. Most of my time goes into writing Python services, designing data models, and making sure the things I build behave predictably under real conditions.

My approach to engineering is unglamorous on purpose: understand the problem, keep the design small, write code that the next reader can follow, and verify behaviour instead of assuming it. I care about clear boundaries between components, sensible error handling, and deployments that are repeatable.

Right now I am deepening my work in backend engineering, applied AI, cloud, and DevOps by shipping projects end to end — from the first API endpoint to the container that runs it in production.

Selected work

AI Engineer 365

In development

A daily engineering system for building and shipping AI features.

A structured workspace for designing, testing, and documenting AI-assisted workflows. Covers prompt versioning, model call orchestration, and reproducible evaluation of outputs so results can be compared instead of guessed at.

Expense Tracker CLI

Maintained

A fast, scriptable command-line tool for personal expense tracking.

Terminal-first expense tracking with categorised entries, monthly summaries, and CSV export. Built around a small persistence layer and tested command handlers, so the tool stays reliable as new commands are added.

Ghaready

Shipped

A property discovery platform connecting listings with the people searching them.

Full-stack application with search, filtering, and listing management. Focus areas were query performance on filtered searches, clean REST boundaries, and a data model that tolerates incomplete listing information.

Jyunar

Shipped

A web product built around structured content and a simple, fast interface.

Designed and implemented the application layer end to end: authentication, content modelling, and a responsive interface. Deployment is automated so a merge to main results in a verified release.

Roles and responsibilities

  1. 2023 — Present

    Computer Science Teacher

    Secondary Level Institution

    • Teach programming fundamentals, data structures, and problem solving to student cohorts, translating abstract concepts into working code they can run and reason about.
    • Rebuilt the practical component of the curriculum around small projects, which raised the number of students completing independent coding work.
  2. 2022 — 2023

    IT Officer & Instructor

    Academic Institution

    • Owned day-to-day systems, networking, and lab infrastructure, reducing recurring downtime by standardising configuration and documenting recovery steps.
    • Ran technical training sessions for staff and students on tooling, version control, and safe systems practice.
  3. 2021 — 2022

    President, Cyber Security Club

    Computer Engineering Department

    • Led a student team organising workshops and hands-on security sessions, growing consistent participation across the department.
    • Coordinated speakers, sessions, and internal competitions, handling planning, delegation, and follow-through with a volunteer team.
  4. 2021

    Web Development Intern

    Software Company

    • Implemented and shipped interface and API features against an existing codebase, working through code review and iterative feedback.
    • Fixed defects across the stack and wrote the reproduction steps and notes that shortened triage for recurring issues.
